Seaside Drive is a lovely well maintained and upscale neighbourhood which is safe and family friendly. Guests can view Freights Bay which is an excellent break for beginner surfing, and SUP-ing (stand-up paddle boarding). Most surf schools offer their lessons at Freights Bay while South Point surf spot, which is only a 10 minute walk is ideal for avid surfers. Additionally, Silver sands, home of Brian Talma is great for surfing and kite surfing and Surfers point which is around the corner is perfect for kite and wind surfing.
Miami Beach is a 10 minute walk away from this Christ Church vacation villa and has a calm side that is shallow without waves perfect for small children and infants. “Mr. Delicious” canteen serves up local flavours: fish cakes, flying fish cutters, rotis, Bajan lemonade, rum punch and Banks beer. There are also vendors on site with chairs and umbrellas.
Oistins is next to Miami beach and features supermarkets, banks, post office, café’s and the famous Oistins Fish Fry/Market, where you can buy your fish to cook at home or opt for an affordable and delicious plate of grilled catch.
